Full course description
Regardless of your role or industry, you have goals to accomplish. Whether you've always struggled to set and achieve the right goals, or you want some tips to leverage how the brain really works to optimize your goal efficiency, this course is for you. This 3-week course will help students understand the brain and how to work with it to clear a path for optimum goal achievement, set the right goals, and a brainy framework to increase the likelihood of success.
The course instructor is Melina Palmer, founder and CEO of The Brainy Business, which provides behavioral economics consulting to businesses of all sizes from around the world. Her podcast, The Brainy Business, has downloads in over 170 countries. Melina worked in corporate marketing and brand strategy for over a decade before earning her master’s in behavioral economics. She has contributed research to the Association for Consumer Research, Filene Research Institute, and writes the Behavioral Economics & Business column for Inc Magazine. - How the brain really works, and brain biases that are keeping you stuck.
- How to set achievable goals (and what to avoid).
- The value of a 90-day sprint, and how to implement it to get more of the right stuff done (and waste less time productively procrastinating on less important things)
